Jimmy Kerr rescues old Bibles then tries to get them back to the families they belong (through Ebay). He recently purchased a Family Bible in the State of Ohio (Southington) from an estate sale. In it was hand written information of the Preserved Harris Family (born 1785) of their parents, children and grandchildren's births, marriages, deaths, etc. He found me (by googling) and my Harris Family History Website (HarrisFamilyNews) and saw that I was a descendant, then contacted me.
This Bible, printed in the early 1800’s, belonged to Job Harris, (he was the son of Preserved Harris and Nancy Warren) (also, nephew to Emer and Martin Harris) and then passed it to his brother in law John L. Grant (who had married his sister, Elizabeth Harris).

Emer Harris is Randy Harris’s great-great grandfather. Emer and his brothers Martin and Preserved along with their father moved to Kirtland, Ohio in 1832 with Joseph Smith and other new members of the church.
